Welcome aboard. I am Ela, a passionate professional bridging the gap between medical science and psychological wellness. With a rich background holding a Medical degree alongside a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology, I am uniquely positioned to offer comprehensive care that addresses both the mind and body. Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), my journey spans nearly a decade, initially as a physician and subsequently as a therapist, across diverse clinical settings.

My practice is rooted in the belief that true healing encompasses both physical and psychological dimensions. With extensive experience in both domains, I have developed a holistic approach that not only aims to alleviate symptoms but also seeks to understand and address their underlying causes. This approach is informed by my work with individuals from all walks of life and at various stages, from infancy to senior years, allowing me a broad perspective on the human condition.

My Approach I employ a versatile array of evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to your unique needs. These include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Brain Spotting. This eclectic methodology is complemented by my medical knowledge, offering a rare amalgamation that enriches the therapeutic experience. Understanding the critical role of lifestyle factors in overall well-being, I extend services beyond traditional therapy to include consultations on diet, lifestyle, and sleep. This comprehensive support system is designed to harmonize your physical and mental health, steering you towards a path of self-healing and profound personal growth. Specializations My clinical experience covers a wide array of challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, anger management, relationship issues, health anxiety, chronic medical conditions, infertility, maternity and parenting concerns, work and school stress, and immigration challenges. I pride myself on creating an innovative, safe, and interactive environment that respects cultural, neurological (e.g., ADHD, Autism, ODD, HSP), and sexual (LGBTQ2S+) diversity. I offer both in-person and online therapy sessions in English and Persian, catering to children, adults, couples, and families.

Welcome aboard. I am Fred, a medical doctor, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), educator, and systems thinker working at the intersection of medicine, psychotherapy, neuroscience, technology, and human development. My professional path has moved through clinical medicine, counselling psychology, education, computer science, and health informatics. These worlds may seem separate, but in my work, they meet around one central question: what helps a person move from confusion and struggle toward clarity, steadiness, and meaningful change?

My clinical focus is ADHD and the challenges that often gather around it: anxiety, emotional intensity, burnout, school and work stress, parenting strain, screen and gaming concerns, low confidence, trauma, attachment wounds, and family conflict. I do not see these struggles as isolated symptoms to be managed in a narrow way. I see them as patterns within a larger system: the body, the brain, relationships, habits, environment, stress, learning history, and meaning. When we understand the system, we can begin to change it.

My Approach My approach is integrative, structured, and deeply human. I bring the precision of medical thinking, the emotional depth of psychotherapy, the clarity of education, and the pattern-recognition of systems work into the therapy room. I am interested not only in what is happening, but why it keeps happening, what maintains it, and what kind of support can make real change possible. In therapy, we slow things down enough to see clearly. We look at attention, emotion, routines, sleep, stress, communication, family roles, internal beliefs, and daily pressure. From there, we build practical tools that can survive real life: better routines, clearer limits, emotional regulation skills, repair after conflict, stronger follow-through, and more compassionate self-understanding. I draw from evidence-informed approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, attachment-based therapy, psychoeducation, somatic awareness, parent coaching, and practical skills-based work. My style is calm, thoughtful, direct, and collaborative. I do not believe therapy should make life more complicated. Good therapy should help make complexity more understandable, more workable, and less lonely. Specializations I support children, teens, adults, parents, and families dealing with ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, anger, burnout, trauma, grief, school and work issues, self-esteem, parenting challenges, men’s issues, life transitions, internet and gaming concerns, behavioural struggles, and relationship or family strain. My background allows me to hold both science and human experience in view. I care about root causes over quick labels, integration over fragmentation, and practical change over vague insight. My goal is to help clients build a life that works better from the inside out: more structure, more self-trust, more emotional steadiness, and a clearer path forward. I offer therapy in English and Persian, both in person and online.
